Department of Nursing Foundation

The Nursing Foundation Department serves as the cornerstone of the College of Nursing, equipping students with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary for quality patient care. The department focuses on building a strong base in Basic Nursing Skills, Fundamental Procedures, Communication & Professional Ethics and Health & Safety Principles. We are fortunate to be guided by a team of accomplished educators who enable our students practice procedures using mannequins and simulation models before entering real clinical settings through rigorous skill lab training which helps build confidence, accuracy, and competence in the students. The department also facilitates early clinical exposure in hospitals and community settings, enabling students to apply classroom knowledge in real-life situations. We serve as the stepping stone that shapes our students into skilled and responsible future nurses.
