History
Legacy of Compassionate Healthcare Since 1952
Jubilee Mission Hospital, Thrissur
Established in 1952, Jubilee Mission Hospital was founded by the Archdiocese of Trichur at a time when access to medical care in Central Kerala was limited. Beginning as a small dispensary on 17th December 1951, it was inaugurated in 1953 after blessings from eminent church dignitaries. The hospital initially functioned with four rooms, 20 beds, two part-time doctors, and two nurses, becoming the first private hospital in Thrissur.
Through dedicated service and community support, the hospital steadily expanded and gained recognition for cleft lip and palate surgery, and the treatment of snake bites and burns. With the addition of super-specialty departments such as Cardiology and Nephrology in 1998, followed by several other advanced specialties, the institution grew into a major centre for comprehensive healthcare, serving people across Thrissur, Palakkad, and Malappuram districts.
