Code of Conduct
For Students
Students have to be punctual for college and clinics. The Morning assembly in theory class days is at 8.20am and the clinical posting days the time for reporting in the clinical area is at 7.30am. Students should be regular in each class hours also.
Corrective action: If the students fails to maintain punctuality, oral warning will be given for the first time. If it repeats the written warning (memo) will be issued and if proceeds half day absent will be marked.
Every student must have a minimum of 80% of attendance separately for theory and practicals to be eligible for appearing University Examination.
Corrective action: If there are genuine reasons like unanticipated family issues the student will be allowed to compensate to complete the 80% attendance as decided by the disciplinary committee. If the student fails to justify the reason for leave he/she will be withheld from the exams and allowed to appear next exam after making it 80%.
Students remained absent for the attendance before each lecture, practical class or clinical will be considered as leave. If the leave is not informed priorly is considered as uninformed leave. If the leave was an emergency inform the respective class coordinator on the intimated time (7.30am to 8.20am)
Corrective action: If it is an informed leave, that particular day to be compensated for 100% attendance in transcript. In case of uninformed leave 1:2 compensation will be given. (eg: One day uninformed leave student need to compensate that one day + one more day. So total 2 days.)

Corrective action: Students of this college getting involved in activity that may interfere with the co-operative life and educational work of the college will be liable to be suspended or expelled from the college by the Principal.
Mass walk outs or strikes are strictly prohibited. The disagreements/grievances can be shared by the students through proper channel/forms as instructed.
Corrective action: Followed by disciplinary committee enquiry the oral warning, written warning and suspension will be given depends on the severity and repetition of events.
Ragging in any form is a criminal offence, and will be dealt with all seriousness.
Corrective action: Any such activities will be reported to the police and the students indulging in ragging will be expelled from the college.

Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the college campus and student found to have violated the rule are under disciplinary action as per policy.

Uniform – The student must adhere to the uniform dress code of the institution.
Corrective action : If any violations are found by faculty or administrative authorities of college and clinics will be reported and corrective action will be taken. Three times oral warning, one explanation letter, fine Rs. 100/-, one day suspension

Nursing is a noble profession and teaching assumes the obligation to conduct oneself in accordance with the ideals of the profession. The teacher can inspire, inspect, ignite, instill love of learning. It should follow the ethical values like care, trust, respect and so on.
